Occupy Bangkok: 21 Jan 2014

Wittayu junction was still opened only one lane in the morning like yesterday. There was a set of tires and sand bags blocked two lanes of Thai – Belgium bridge (like yesterday, again).

The large group of protesters marched on Rama IV road to Lumpini Park in the evening. A lot of office workers joined and cheered the protesters on the footpath. Some people took a selfie of themselves with the protesters.

The protesters and the office workers keep shouting “Thaksin/Yingluk get out”, “Thaksin be jailed”

Suthep also walked with the protesters, a lot of people cheered him “ลุงกำนัน สู้ๆ” (Fight, Unkle Kamnan).

Occupy Bangkok: 20 Jan 2014

Wittayu junction was still opened only one lane in the morning like last week. There was a set of tires and sand bags blocked two lanes of Thai – Belgium bridge.

There were two sets of barriers on Rama IV road, one was next to Soi Saladeang and another one was under the footbridge.

Occupy Bangkok: 17 Jan 2014

The junction between Rama IV Road and Sathorn Road still opened only one lane in the morning like yesterday. There was a set of tires (with more serious look) and guards blocked two lanes of Thai – Belgium bridge.

Most of the cars were forced to turn left to Soi Saladeng since the morning.

A group of protesters cars and motocycles passed this barrier in the afternoon. The leading car said “Sorry for the traffic jam but it is worthwhile to get rid of Thaksin’s root in Thailand” via his megaphone.

Some cars were paint with cartoon characters.
